Through the contract the company will supply a national control centre made of 16 consoles receiving data from the 18 Lyra 50 radars, provided together with eight regional centres, each one made of six controller working positions. In addition the contract includes the realization of the necessary civil works which will be made by local enterprises. The supply will be completed with a communication system which will interconnect the radar sites, the local centres and the national centre, and allow information exchange among naval units and the control centres.  5 August 2010 Contract in Ukraine for civil systems For the European Football Championship which will take place in Ukraine in 2012, SELEX Sistemi Integrati, a Finmeccanica company, signed two contracts for a total value of 15 million euros with the Ukrainian National company for Air traffic Control (UkSATSE).
The first contract worth 10 milion euros, is for systems upgrading at the Kiev Airport, the Ukrainian main hub.The second contract SELEX Sistemi Integrati signed through its German subsidiary SELEX Systems Integration GmbH, has a value of about 5 million euros. With this agreement the company will provide three meteorological Meteor radars (featuring a range of about 400 Km) for the regions of Lvov, Karkov e Simferopol.  1 July 2010 SELEX Sistemi Integrati and Russian Telecom Equipment Company announce the intention to establish in Russia a Joint Venture CJSC Russian Telecom Equipment Company (RTEC), affiliated with State Corporation Rostechnologies and SELEX Sistemi Integrati signed a Terms Sheet for a Joint Venture Agreement for the design and manufacture of complex automated security systems for critical infrastructures and events. The new company will start creating the security systems for big transport nods (airports, sea ports, railway stations), industrial plants (oil depots, gas pipelines and others), as well as for major events (congresses, summits, sports competitions).
The signature ceremony of the agreement took place on the 1st of July in the frameworks of International Forum “Engineering Technologies 2010” which is being held in Zhukovsky city, Moscow region.  25 June 2010 SELEX Sistemi Integrati presents SeaBILLA, a new European research and development project SELEX Sistemi Integrati launched the European research and development project SeaBILLA (Sea Border Surveillance).
SeaBILLA, proposed to the European Union as a research and development project on maritime and borders surveillance, has recently obtained a funding of about 15,5 million Euros within the 7th Framework Programme “Security Research Call2”. SELEX Sistemi Integrati is leader of a consortium which will manage the 45 month long programme, and will coordinate 26 National and International partners belonging to the industrial and the academic world.
The project is compliant with a requirement from the European Union of an integrated maritime policy. In particular, SeaBILLA aims to demonstrate the possibility to enhance maritime boarder control through the net-centric integration of different kinds of surveillance systems.
From an operational point of view SeaBILLA will allow a timely and efficient detection of illicit actions both along the coasts and in the open sea.  09 June.2010 SELEX Sistemi Integrati wins Forza NEC contract worth EUR 238 million SELEX Sistemi Integrati has signed a contract worth EUR 238 million with the Land Armaments General Directorate - Italian Ministry of Defence to supply the Italian armed forces with a digitised system known as Forza NEC (Network Enabled Capability). The aim of the Forza NEC programme is to modernise the armed forces using technology that will make it possible to exchange the maximum amount of operational, tactical and logistical information from each vehicle or individual deployed in the field.
SELEX Sistemi Integrati signed the five-year contract in its role as main supplier, system integrator and lead company in the definition of the overall system architecture. The programme will also involve other Finmeccanica companies such as SELEX Communications, SELEX Galileo, Elsag Datamat, Oto Melara, AgustaWestland and MBDA Italia. Other members of the industrial alliance include Elettronica, Iveco, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, the Iveco-Oto Melara consortium and the temporary consortium Soldato Futuro.
